Re: [ST] Tiger engine



This has probably been answered already, but the new Tiger engine uses a different casting process than any other Triumph. That's why it looks different. It is 955cc. I saw a new Tiger at the trade show in Indianapolis last month, but the guys from Triumph said the engine was a dummy using the new castings, but without the new internals. I'm not exactly sure what will change inside the engine.

Yes, I thought so - i.e. the new 955i engine looks totally different to the
ST/RS 955i - and the current 850 Tiger engine looks exactly like the ST/RS
955i ?
