Re: [ST] State Farm

BTW, folks, I just remembered something. Check your State laws regarding Insurance Regulations. Here in Texas, an insurance company can only use the last 3 years of your record. I called Geico once and they started asking for tickets and accidents in the last 8 years. I refused to tell them and they refused to give me a quote, until I requested a supervisor and reminded the supervisor that according to Texas Insurance regulations they are only intitled to the last 3 years except for DWI's (which I have none). The supervisor then relented and they gave me a quote which wasn't any better than what I had so I didn't switch. Just know your rights and the rights of the insurance company and don't let them bully you. I personally probably took the wrong stance that day and just should have quoted my last 3 years as if it were my last 8 and not made a big fuss. But I had a really bad day that day and wasn't going to put up with anymore crap from anyone else. Just wanted to!
 throw
 that in.
