This is purely a matter of choice, but I like the sound and feel of the 955 triple more than the sound and feel of the VFR800. Actually that bike sounds great, just not as great as the Triumph. And while "character" may be a euphemism for "flaws," I find the character of the triple more appealing. I find the slight vibration reassuring, and not bothersome. The Honda is just too smooth for me.
