RE: [ST] RS inside Fairing finishing kits?

I had thought about it, but decided to leave it, but here is what I thought.
If you were just looking to block the light coming back into the cockpit
area, I was going to try using automotive door trim. Pep-Boys (local auto
shop) has a HUGE selection of the stuff and a lot of it is adhesive backed.
Take off the nose cone, wrap the lights in the trim and refit the fairing,
it SHOULD seal the light area. I don't think the light heat should harm the
rubber, but YMMV.

back to the original topic -- i don't care about full trim, but just a
piece of rubber trim that would block the light from the back of the
headlights would be really nice. anyone done anything like that?
