[ST] ear plugs

Custom plugs aren't necessarily the answer. The ones I got did not seat 
properly, and the noise came trough. I have heard there are custom plugs  
available with a one-way (exit) air valve, which lets air out when the plug 
is pushed in, and when the plug is released, a vacuum is formed which 
maintains air-tight seating.
For my narrow canals, I find Howard Leight Max plugs quite soft and 
comfortablw-they are soft foam, peach-colored, and bell shaped. Dave Collins,
