i sit corrected.  :-)

before i wrote that, i went out to the garage and checked my RS.  it
has no play whatever.

of course, i neglected to remember until just now that the ST
and RS undoubtedly have entirely different caliper mounts, given
that they have entirely different swingarms.   doh!
