Is it really out of fuel?  Or is it just the infamous fuel sender problem
causing the yellow "low fuel" light to come on ridiculously early?

The only way to tell is how much fuel it took to fill the tank from the
indicated empty.  Do the math and tell us what your miles per gallon is.

200+

At 200 I start to look for a place to fill up.  I've stretched it to 250 on
highway trips.
