Scott,

I just bought my RS and had a similar problem....I rode home on the
interstate for about 60 miles at 70-75 mph and it stayed around 3500 to 3700
rpm....You shouldn't have any problems, just max the rpm limit (3000-3500)
while shifting up to get the speed... once it got up, it stayed without a
problem....
