RE: [ST] Break in?



LOL - Been here, not done that - I had the same dilemma - a long way from
home to collect bike - guess what, I survived the 52mph trip back home -
it's a 70mph speed LIMIT, not speed requirement!   I swear you'll live - I
did, and am now a happy 2000 miles down the road!

I can only figure that when Triumph set the engine speeds for breaking in,
they did so for a reason - just think, when you get back, you will have done
at least 1/2 the required mileage for break in at 3000 rpm - and if you did
what I did - i.e. make the trip even longer by taking back roads - it will
be 116 miles, and you would have had 16 miles of 4500 rpm!!!
