Amen, and hallelujah! I have preached the gospel of countersteering for 20 
years, when I was first made aware of the concept.  You would be amazed at 
the number of "bikers" who not only are unaware, but actually scoff at the 
idea.  If you want to convince someone of the reality, just ride on the back 
with them and then push forward on either of their elbows (with their 
permission, of course) pretty convincing to most.  Code's double handlebar 
bike is outstanding for the demonstration.  Knees and footpeg manipulation 
may have some effect, but I am convinced even that is actually "phantom" 
countersteering!
