i beg to differ. the sv650 is a very tall bike, every bit as tall as
my RS. it's too bad, because the rest of the features are good, other
than having maybe a bit more power than a first-time rider should have
at their disposal.
the other problem is that it's new.
i'd look at a suzuki bandit 400, which is foregiving, but which they
won't outgrow very fast. a honda hawk might work. a GS500 is a good
choice too.
