If her feet reach the ground well, a Suzuki SV650 (naked or half-faired
'S', I prefer the 'S') is an excellent machine. It was my "return to
motorcycling" bike back in early '99. They're cheap, too, about $6k new, so
used models should be available for under $5k even if they haven't been trashed
or dropped.
