[ST] Vmax (was Re: (ST) Cruizer.... OK.



The VMax is still being produced as of '01 anyway. I had a '95 VMax that I
sold to buy my Sprint.  I loved that bike.  There's nothing like the feel of
VBoost!!  It would smoke more than just HD's too.  But it's a boulevard
burner and you're right in that it was a bit to handle in the tight turns.
It's a heavy bike, remember, coming in somewhere around 575-580 lbs.  It's
limited fuel capacity made it inconvenient to make any trips of distance,
especially with my Goldwing friends.  Fueling up was always fun, though,
watching the pump attendant's reaction when you pop the seat to gas up
(okay, one thing that sucks in Oregon is that there's no self-serve gas!).
It was a little strange going from that 1200 v4 rumble to the purr of the
ST's triple.
