Martin,
This may sound a bit Irish but, you can also buy a new ST here cheaper than
an ex demo!! Triumph are subsidising the dealers who are offering 0%
interest on 'NEW' models. If you take the price of an ex demo unit and add
the interest to repay over say 2/3 years, you will find that the total
repayable is more than the price of a new unit!
What's the OTR price in your part of the world?

Well after a brief examination of the UK bike market I've decided that you
guys get rightly shafted!
Bearing in mind that the Irish government take IR£1305 "registration tax" on
a new 955cc bike and our VAT rate is 20% compared to the UKs 17.5% I can
still buy a new Triumph over here for the price of an ex-demonstrator in the
UK!
Buying new is looking more and more attractive.
