Graeme,
You can still use this pipe set up with the panniers.  You just buy, from
Two Brothers, another straight pipe section.  You remove the "S" pipe
section just behind the can and replace it with a straight section and it
drops the can down to the low position to accomodate the panniers.  Contact
Two Brothers and they will explain it to you.  The exhuast system comes with
great easy to follow instructions.
