RE: [ST] FOR SALE: 2000 yellow Sprint RS (Seattle area)

Cool,

Check out the rear wheel/axle/chain tension assembly on the swing arm. It
is a round item with the axle at the bottom of the cylinder. That whole
assembly can be turned 180 degrees so that the axle is at the top, raising
the wheel by 1.5 inches in the swing arm and lowering the rear end. Also,
the forks can be raised in the triple clamp about 1.5 inches. Throw in a
little less preload, front and rear, and POOF, you're riding a Tiger!

The Tiger does fascinate me but I kind of ruled it out because of the
height. I'll definitely ask my dealer about the possibility of lowering
the thing.
