RE: [ST] k&N FILTER

Why would one let sand in and not the other...isn't the elements the same on
all the filters?  Of course I just checked mine and it is the TB-0005,
should I start to panic now or wait for a better time?

I hope that you got part number TB-9097. They had another version that fit
(TB-0005 as listed on the website), but was notorious for allowing sand
past it into the motor (not a good thing...)

Personally I can't see where the increase of 1 to 2 hp is worth the risk.
