For me, the bars are almost perfect.  I'd prorbably rotate them back
slightly in the clamps.  I can sit totally upright, and have some bend to my
arms.  The bars are like Motocross bars, with the cross-bar (No pad though).
I think that the bar-risers for the Speed-Triple will work on the Tiger as
well, since they simply fit in the U shape of the bottom bar clamp and add
an inch or so to the bar height.  It would also be very inexpensive to
simply replace the bars with taller bars.  I'll try to remember to check the
cable situation for extra cable slack and comfirm the bar riser notion.

The biggest plus for the Tiger is the stock seat is very comfortable.  I've
put 3 hours on a Tiger, and never had any pain, in the arms, wrists, or
seat.

A friend calls the Tiger the SUV of motorcyles!

Oh, I forgot to ask this.  How is the reach to the bars on the Tiger?
That is really my problem -- Triumph makes such loooong tanks that my
elbows are locked when I ride the thing unless I really hunch over.
Height can often be fixed, but a long reach is more problematic for me.
