I had a similar problem when turning right on full lock that the revs 
increased on there own.

I found this when doing some training I had to go lock to lock doing U-turn 
practice. Turning left pushed the throttle cable under the tank, turning 
right the cable did not always come back out. This was fixed by cable tying 
the cable to stop it moving so far under the tank (dealer fix, not mine).

I'm not saying this is your problem but it may be worth a look.
