Very interesting.

I had a 1964 Mustang that you could listen to the (AM) radio without the key 
on.  All you had to do was,

A.  Open the glove box and turn on the emergency flasher switch....

B.  Turn the blinker stalk to "Left turn" (not right)........

C.  Put your foot on the brake pedal to engage the brake lights....

D.  Then turn the radio on and it would "magically" play (and it was       
always "Born to be Wild").

Please don't ask how I figured this out........I was 16.... 8-)
