Re: [ST] motorcycle movies

Well, of course the finest "MOTORCYCLE" movie ever made was "On Any Sunday"
with the great Malcolm Smith. Mostly off-road riding but truly remarkable
footage with Malcolm, Steve McQueen and other assorted legends. "On Any
Sunday II" was a sequel of sorts but without Malcolm.

Now the greatest "BIKER" movie ever made was "Easy Rider". Not so much a
motorcycle movie, but the scenes riding through New Mexico are gorgeous.
This flick about dropping out & searching for the real America had a big
impact on me in 1969 when I was 14 and just got my motorcycle liscense.
Despite the way-overuse of the word "Man", Dennis Hopper, Peter Fonda & Jack
Nickolson really capture the spirit of the time (late 60's). Not a movie
for the squeamish.

Other notables on my list include;

Electra Glide in Blue, with the currently infamous Robert Blake as a
disillusioned motorcycle cop.

Time Rider, a movie about a desert rider who goes back in time to the old
west! I believe this video is available thru the Aerostitch, Riderwearhouse
catalog of all places.
