[ST] Poor Idling

>

Alliston,

Along with the other replies to this problem, I would like to add my 2 cents. I had this happen to me only once, and that was when I started the bike immediately after fueling, when an extremely attractive Candian girl pulled up to the next pump and got me distracted. I can not be sure if it was my re-fueling, or the presence of a pretty girl, but it more likely was that I
immediately started the bike without waiting the few seconds for it to do its little song and dance that it does upon switching the key on. It seems to happen when you don't give the bike a few seconds to go through its startup routine before starting it. Kind of like shortcutting Windows when shutting down rather than re-booting properly. Of course, the Sprint could just be
sensitive to attractive Candian girls nearby. More research is called for.

PS

thanks to everyone for the advice on fuel stabilizers. my fuel is henceforth stable.
