Erik,

Sounds like you have want'itus. I am very inflected by the same.
I do not have the 1 bike rule, but every time I sit and think
"Okay I'll get the [ZX12r|TL1000S|Daytona|S3|'02 R1|'02 CBR954RR]",
then I start thinking about when I will ride it.

- - to work - nope needhard luggage
- - vacation - and trailer, nope, ST is too comfy for LD riding duty]

So it comes down to aimless rides and the occasional weekend ride.
Basically a second bike would see about 3-5k miles a year (at best).
Not worth the extra $$$ in insurance etc.
