Warm up? Why would you need to allow a fuel injected vehicle to warm up?

As an aside, I have noticed that on cold mornings, if I let the bike warm up
to temperature, the seat heats up as the coolant overflow tank gets hot fluid
from the cooling jacket.

Nice to have a toasty bum on a cold morning, also removes the frost if I
forgot to cover the bike the night before (oh the shame, I need a garage).
