My ST regularly gets 50-55 MPG (Eurogallon) while the Futura struggles to make
40.
Dunno how much the Ducati drinks but I don't remember the 996 being very frugal.
Spare parts prices?
On average, spares for the Futura are twice the price of the ST.
Surely the running costs should figure into the VFM equation?
It can't be beyond the means of the Magazines to ask for prices for a selection
of parts when they receive a bike for testing. I'm thinking fuel tank, brake
lever, indicator, mirror, oil filter, major service etc...
