RE: [ST] 6K service

Just had my first 6000K service in Stockport, UK.

Superb mechanic, thanks Danny. All in for £95 ($140) including fixing
problem with radiator, loose gear selector, replacing a leaking fuel
valve and uploading the latest tune.

Bad news was that I need a new rear tyre!

Denis-Best to have the service done first. Major part of storing a bike
should be an oil change so that the bike doesn't sit with impurities in
the oil. Second advantage is you'll be out riding while everyone and
their dog is trying to get their bikes serviced next spring!
I think most people pay $200-$300 for 6ks, 12K is more because they
check/adjust valves.
