Upright ST bars?

Hi Rick,

When you find the answer to a more upright & comfortable position, please
let me know too! I've also reached a point where I don't bend and fold
quite like I used to.

I tried the GenMar risers on my ST, but didn't like 'em. Then I gave up my
heated grips for Heli-Bars, which are better.

So far, about the only conclusion I can come too, is getting some custom
bars made, in sections, so that I can have my current position for
backroads, but be able to move them up higher for the unavoidable freeway
trip. Any better ideas would be very welcome!

Where I ride (in this part of Louisiana) the roads are a) in crappy
condition, and b) very straight. This means that I ride relatively
infrequently, but usually about 100 miles to go ride with some friends who
live near really good roads, then ride for anywhere between 200-400 miles,
then 100 miles back home. By the time I get to the going "home section",
I'd happily trade the ST in for a Trophy or a 'Wing or any form of
road-sofa, but I'd miss the ST for everything off Interstate.

Alex
