Any chance it was left with ignition in the park position? That would
definitely drain the battery.

Have you tried charging it to see if it will hold a charge?

If the answer to both questions is no, then you got a bum battery and I
would press to have it covered under warranty. Even crappy Yuasa batteries
last more than a thousand miles.
