Yup, it's very easy. Tools required for the installation:

- -ST, parked outside landlady's house on a frosty January evening in Germany

- - one of the Lovely Ballast's chopsticks, to slide between the original
grips and the bars to loosen them enough to slide them off (call me chicken,
but I kept the original grips in case I made a mess of the installation)

- -Allen key from standard ST toolkit to take off side fairings and get at the
wiring

- -string to tie round the heated grip wires and keep them in the slots in the
bars while you reassemble the switch clusters

- -Swiss army knife; use the awl to make holes in the fairing at the corners
of the switch cutout, use the wood saw to join up the holes and use the big
blade to shave away the edges to make a good fit. This is the scary part,
yikes, do I really want to gouge a big hole in pristine plastic?

- -summer riding gloves for the test ride. Wahoo, these grips are great, I
will never have another bike without heated grips!

Think I'd pass the Triumph mechanics test?
