Re: [ST] Battery / Electrics

Strange you should mention this issue - I had exactly the same thing happen
to me this morning - I rode the bike yesterday, and it started in the
morning and evening just fine, but this morning when I tried, the dash
lights were on, but it would hardly turn over, and I couldn't even bump
start it - and then the damn alarm went off too - just for fun!

I didn't have time to check the battery or anything, as I had to get to
work, but I am interested to see if it's the battery or alternator.

As far as your management light is concerned, from what I remember, you need
to cycle the power at least three times before it will reset itself.
(Excuse the computer version - cycle the power - what I mean is start and
stop the engine three times allowing it to heat to operating temperature and
cool down again before restarting)

Later,
Graeme
