RE: [ST] New file uploaded

John,

I used a RAM mount from
http://www.cycoactive.com/gps/gps_mounts_ram.html#gr3h. They were really
nice there over the phone. I agree with Mike about not worrying about
vibration. From what I've read on the net and from Garmin's website, it
doesn't seem that vibration is an issue. If off-roaders use a GPS going
cross-country, I don't think anything we subject it to will hurt it.

Chris,

Which and how do you have the mount installed on the bike? I've been
thinking about tapping the upper tripple clamp instead of hanging it off the
bars. I think I would get less vibration that way.

Chris Strizver has uploaded the following file for you to view

Description :-
A pic of my GPS mount with the RAM arm. Yes, it obscures the speedo, but who
cares?

BTW, I tested the ST odometer against the GPS, and they were dead nuts on.
Well, they were until I went through a tunnel! Then the ST was MORE
accurate.
