Surprised no one has mentioned the quality products at:

Read a bit about their theories on electric gear. I'm sold. I got the
gloves, will be adding their jacket liner and thermostat in a week or so.
Perhaps someday....socks.....but my feet aren't cold yet.

I would guess that better than 1/2 the "cold weather riders" I know use the
Gerbing's products, and all rave about them. Oh, and my understanding is
that the ST & RS use a 580 watt alternator, more than enough to power the
full electric gear.
