Yeah, me too.  I just ordered 26 gauge nichrome wire
from Frey Scientific, Mansfield, Ohio (1-800-225-FREY)
4 ounces (345 feet) of 26 gauge nichrome wire ~ 15.95

This is way too much wire for a vest, gloves, boot
soles, uh... tire warmers... uh... crank case
heater...

Anyone want the leftover wire?

I also called the local John Deere man, and he has the
John Deere male plug P/N RE11344 which fits the
Triumph ST socket in stock.  The price is supposed to
be $8.90 for the plug.  The $6 K-mart jackets are now
$8, but there is great info here:
