For multi-week trips and daily commuting yes, but when we go gravel 
hunting, I leave the top box home.

IMNSHO RKA luggage rocks. might be a bit more money, but I have had my 
RKA tank bag for over 3 years now. With the side paniers, it no longer 
sees daily use, but on the 6e and 9r it did, cats ass.


BTW, Steve, how's the ride? Up for a trip Sunday?
