Ken,
I have 1,000 mi on my Sportec's and really like them. I did not
experience any chain problems though. Maybe the RS is different than the
ST? I have been down some very twisty roads and they have great hold and
feel. My only concern is how long will they last as they feel like a
soft compound. Metzeler states in there info that they should go 7 to 8
K, we will see. I leave Portland Or on June 1 for a 5,000 mi trip cross
country to Alabama and Back so it will be a good test of tire life. I
will let you know how it goes.
