Re: [ST] Coolant Level

On my '00 RS (good choice of color that Lucifer Orange) the coolant was in
the middle of min & max, then when hot it was way up over the top. When
that happened and I goosed it or wheelied I'd notice a leaking on my chain
guard and frame. Turned out the contents under pressure was leaking from
the crappy cover ( which IMHO should be a screw on cover). I just lowered
the coolant level (cold) right at the min line and now when I'm hot it goes
up to about where yours goes, and I don't have any leaking. I know the
manual says in the middle, but you'll probably be alright leaving it on the
min line (when cold). I've been doing that for almost a year now with no
problems. FWIW
