Randy, I *think* Triumph has a SS rod available.  Seems I made that switch 
about a year ago.  Check with your dealer.  Or better yet, see if he will 
swap out for the Daytona one-piece unit, I just made the switch and it is 
"far superior" to that damned linkage thingy. :]
