I'm looking for a good compass, I don't want a GPS.

What I'm looking for is something that has a very small digital screen  that
says "N", "NE", "E", "SE", "S", etc. I've never seen what I'm looking for,
but you know how many of the newer cars/trucks/vans have that tiny display
window in the rear view mirror that shows the direction.

Has anyone ever seen replacement motorcycle mirrors that display the
direction or some other add on gauge for a car or truck that would work?
