Linda. I have an orange 2000 rs. I have the same exact problem. I have had
the dealer check it out twice. They find nothing wrong. I have 2600 miles on
mine. It mostly happens when the bike has been sitting for a day or two.
While out riding it warms up and is great for the rest of the day. I even
called Georgia and they told me they are built to last and it will break in.
Last year on this site someone suggested grease etc.. I will be watching for
any solutions. The problem only exists from 1st to second as you describe. I
have had to pull out of traffic for fear of getting hit. This has been my
only gripe with this bike. Last year my foot became so sore and tender. I
hope somebody responds with an answer. Thanks Glenn----- Original
