Cobblers is British English for cojones, b*ll*x, etc. Now you American
English speakers know why I snigger every time I see fruit cobblers on the
menu. [Fruit cobbler being much the same as fruit crumble in UK-speak, then
of course there's the other meaning of fruit in the US...oh, never mind]
On a more ST-related topic, the gyroscopic effect comes from the wheels of a
moving bike, not the engine. Otherwise, if you were turning a circle with
the clutch pulled in and you revved the engine, the bike would wobble
sideways. So Andy's right and it was utter balderdash (qv).
