Lex, I echo Erik's sentiments!  And as maybe the only other lister to suffer 
your fate, I feel your pain, bro'.........

Yeah, at 16K I had a catastrophic failure of the #1 cylinder wrist pin 
causing a hand gernade effect to the piston, rod, valves...ect...

6 weeks downtime, motor rebuilt not replaced, but in my mind maybe better 
than new.  Personally hand-built by a mechanic I trust.  And after all was 
said and done, the "queen bitch" rips like never before!!  I am now at over 
28K and everything seems "hunky-dory", "knock on wood", just hope no "scary 
monsters" await, couldn't take any more "changes", or it might just be a 
"rock-n-roll sucide" for me.
