PREVIOUS: Another question: Have you ever seen a Corbin seat on the Sprint?
Is it more comfy for the pillion?
- ---
Yes, I have a Corbin. Yes, it is comfortable for me and my pillion although
my own experience with the stock seat is almost non-existent.
In the interest of objective reporting, I confess that my daughter's (aka
pillion") comment at the end of an 800 mile day was "my butt hurts." Since
I'd made her promise not to speak a single word of complaint during the ride
she waited until we were in the garage at the end of a long day. She is a
good pillion and was a real trooper on her first long ride so I couldn't
begrudge her the end-of-ride comment!
BTW, she was 11 years old last summer when we took this ride. She was then
approximately 5'5" and 135#.
I took a demo ride on the Sprint before ordering my bike and decided I
wouldn't take it around the block twice with the stock seat. The Corbin
arrived before the bike did. There are other custom seats that I understand
are also very good.
