I never have any problems with skippage on my minidisc player in the tankbag--or anytime, for that matter. I can shake it violently and it will not skip (for 40 seconds). Odd that an mp3 player would have problems. But then again, I guess it's a hard drive-based unit, vs a laser on the MD.
I wonder if you might be reducing the lifespan of it by subjecting it to so many vibrations that it can't read, since it is essentially just a harddrive, right?
