There is another factor about tire mileage I haven't heard or considered is,
at what point do we stop running our tires and put new ones on? I have been
known to run mine until the cord just starts to show, I know, not the
smartest practice. Others may have a more conservative rule like, change
tires at 2/32's or whatever. I probably ride on my tires for one or two
thousand miles more than I should. I'm cheap and maintain two bikes.
