I have a 2000 RS and John at www.Skykingproducts.com made some for our 
bikes.  The price is worth it, plus there is no, I repeat NO drilling of the 
fairings.  Contact him on line.  The install is easy, just remove the upper 
motor mounts and install the sliders.  If you check out his website there 
are also pictures of the RS with frame sliders.  Hope this helps.
