I was told to put the first 100 miles on in the first day, or I'd hate 
myself.  I'm sure he was really thinking I'd hate the bike.  I did and 
it was much nicer after that.  When you can rev it to 5000 you'll be 
quite impressed (just wait for that first power shift at the redline!). 
   England still uses miles and MPH!!?  I thought you went all metric 
years ago.  Are short distances measured in meters and long ones in 
miles?  :-)  Please report on any fuel leanness below 3500 rpm.  I've 
had mine updated to Tune 13 and while it's dramatically better, I still 
have abrupt throttle response below 3000 and a lean surge up to 3500 
rpm.  I can't determine if there is any PCM adjustment to cure it and my 
dealer is just learning fuel injection.
