[ST] t*re pressures

Has anyone played much with their tire pressures? I know that
"lower" generally should give improved grip at the expense of
tread life, but has anyone attempted to quantify the effects?

Alex

I run 35-36 rear, 32-33 front tire pressure on BT012s and got 6000 miles out
of them. Those are Bridgestones softest, stickiest tires. Actually, I had a
slow leak the last thousand miles or so, so many time the pressure was far
lower than the. The tires have a very stiff sidewall and don't move around
much even at <10 psi.
