Neil,
I checked some time ago when I was in the market for an EGA. They're
very expensive. A good 4 gas meter is $5,000 plus and this may have
changed since I checked. A used or rebuilt 3 gas meter is still $3,500.
The one used by my shop, a Gunnison, is a single gas CO monitor. It is
not of professional quality and costs about $125. To do a really good
tune job you should have a minimum of a 3 gas so you can check for
unburned hydrocarbons as well as CO.
