[ST] Re: First Ride

Trying to force me to ride at varying speeds, didn't like to see me zooming
down the highway like that for the first ride. He's the logical one, I'm
the passionate dreamer. I was trying to find a smooth comfortable speed
without pushing too hard the first time; when I looked at the speedo it was
reading 80. Funny how that happens. :-)
Thanks again for joining me for the momentous occasion. I used the $500 to
buy the hard bags.
I like my Gerbing gloves, however, I can see the occasional need for heated
grips. What's the going rate on those? No problem for the alternator to
handle.
When I go out today I will have to pay some attention to the rpms. Today
I'm going to stick to back roads.
See ya on the 23rd for the club's first anniversary dinner.

<snip> Once Jay got in front of you with that Pontiac.....droning along at
55-60 mph on a 65mph Interstate (that few people do at less than 72),...I
had to get moving to avoid riding too much
