Right, sinking your laser capable detector into the tankbag would take
away it's ability to detect laser/lidar completely.  Yet another reason
I'm not using a detector on the bike, don't want the fool think sitting on
top of the windshield!  

Someday someone will produce the remote unit, I think Radio Shack had one
many years ago.
